Day 9, July 8, 2011

We got a photo with Andrea before she left to work. 

Then we spent the morning catching up with Nathan and Liz before heading out toward Carlsbad. 

Cell phone photos are a life saver in an emergency, but they're not always as clear as we would like.

Joel knighted Sir Nathan with the sword he bought on the trip, but we don’t have a photo for that grand event.

The trip was pretty but long, over the mountains at Cloudcroft.  We arrived in Carlsbad too late to take in the caverns, so we went out for dinner and then swam at the motel pool.
