This morning after David made Honduran baleadas for breakfast, Terry took Joel and Raquel to pick up Leah at her camp. Meanwhile, Michelle took David and me to get our rental car. Fortunately, all my late night worries about the validity of our Honduran drivers' licences were needless and we got the car with minimal paperwork. We have a seven-seater Town and Country van. I'm not sure the kids will ever want to go home and ride around in our pick-up truck after all this luxury.
In the afternoon, the Joel hung-out and read comics (he has discovered Calvin & Hobbs...oh, what's to become of us!), David and Terry discussed water quality (Terry is an expert from his pool work and David needs to be able to measure his for his greenhouses), while Michelle took Raquel and me to do some clothes shopping.
For dinner we made Honduran pastelitos for them and then headed downtown to experience San Antonio's famous river walk. It's really a beautiful city!
